Welcome to Avya Aviation. These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made for our Chardham Yatra by Helicopter and other tour packages through avyaaviation.com. Please read them carefully before booking, so your journey stays smooth and stress-free.

By booking a tour with us (online, by phone, or via WhatsApp/Email confirmation), you agree to all the terms mentioned below.

1. Booking & Payment

• A 50% advance payment is required to confirm your booking.
• The balance amount must be paid at least 30 days before your journey date.
• If the balance is not paid on time, your booking may be automatically cancelled without refund.
• You will not be allowed to board or start the tour unless full payment is completed.
• Card payments (credit/debit machine) attract 3.5% to 5% extra charges.

2. Luggage & Weight Rules

• Only one soft duffle bag is allowed per passenger — suitcases are not permitted in the helicopter.
• Maximum luggage: 2 kg for Do Dham, up to 5 kg for Char Dham.
• The helicopter can safely carry a maximum of 450 kg (excluding baggage).
• You must give us your correct body weight at the time of booking.
• Overweight charges: ₹2,500 per kg, calculated on an average of 75 kg per passenger in your booking.
• Any major mismatch between declared and actual weight may lead to a penalty of up to ₹15,000, and boarding may be refused for safety reasons.
• The pilot’s decision on weight and boarding is final.

3. Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your booking, charges will apply based on how early you cancel:

4. Rescheduling Policy

• Requests made 28+ days before travel: 10% rescheduling charge.
• Requests made 15+ days before travel: 20% rescheduling charge.
• Requests made within 15 days: treated as a cancellation, and cancellation charges apply.
• Rescheduling depends on seat availability and is not guaranteed.

5. Weather & Force Majeure

• Chardham Yatra involves helicopter flights in high-altitude Himalayan terrain, so weather delays can happen.
• If a Dham visit becomes impossible due to continuous bad weather, a refund of approx. ₹20,000 per seat per affected Dham (flying cost only) will be given.
• If flying from Dehradun is not possible, a refund will be issued after deducting ₹25,000 towards flight preparation and services already used.
• We are not liable for extra costs like hotel stay, meals, or road travel caused by weather delays.
• We may cancel, delay, reschedule, or modify any flight without prior notice for safety or operational reasons.

6. Waiting Time

• Passengers may need to wait at Kedarnath or other points due to weather or technical checks.
• Waiting time can range from 30 minutes to 3–4 hours or more.
• We always follow a safety-first approach, even if it means longer wait times.

7. Medical Fitness

• All passengers must be medically and physically fit for high-altitude travel.
• Passengers with asthma should not undertake this Yatra.
• We recommend a doctor check-up before your journey, especially if you have any existing health condition.
• Medical evacuation, if needed, is chargeable separately (flying cost, UCADA royalty, landing charges, and GST apply).
• We do not provide travel insurance — please arrange your own before the trip.

8. VIP Darshan & Puja Bookings

• VIP Darshan and VIP Puja are subject to temple committee rules, local permissions, and crowd conditions on the day.
• Puja fees (like Maha Abhishek or Rudra Abhishek) are not included in the package cost and are paid directly at the temple.

9. Right to Refuse Travel

We may refuse to carry any passenger who is unruly, abusive, intoxicated, unwell, or considered unsafe to fly. No refund will be given in such cases.

Our Heli-tours are also not available for certain protected VIP categories (such as Cabinet Ministers, Governors, CJI, and Z-category SPG protectees) due to security protocols.

10. Changes to Itinerary

We try our best to deliver exactly what is promised. However, the itinerary may be modified due to weather, natural events, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control — and we will not be held responsible for such necessary changes.

11. Governing Law

All disputes related to booking, service, or these Terms & Conditions are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Haridwar, Uttarakhand.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
